We're Upgrading To Cloth Diapering!
So! In case no one's noticed by my excited status', we've decided to move to using cloth diapers this time around!!!! I am SO freaking excited!!!!! We just finished ordering our first set. We ordered 6 size small gDiapers! We will have them in blue, green and brown. They arrive today!!!! I can't wait! I've realized a few things thanks to a blog site my friend told me about! If you wanna read up on it, it's here..... http://www.younghouselove.com/2010/08/the-much-requested-cloth-diaper-post/ It's been SUPER helpful! Anyways, I realized that we have made the right choice! I know we haven't actually tried it yet, still waiting for Collin to make his apperance, but I know this is going to work out so well for us. Also, I do appreciate saving the environment and all, but the MAIN reason for us doing this is to save ourselves some money. If you have a baby, you know how expensive buying diapers every 2ish weeks can be! It'll make you go broke alone! LOL I do appreciate saving my planet in all, but I will not save my planet at the expense of me having to put out more energy then neccesary. My family comes first. If I'm so busy saving the planet I'm runing out of energy to tend to my family, there's a problem. LOL Cloth diapers have NOT seemed energy friendly to me, up until I discovered the WONDERFUL Bum Genius diapers! The SPECIFIC Bum Genius diapers that are the 4.0 version with snaps and are....*drum roll please*....ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!! WHAT?!?!?! This was a HUGE bonus to me! Being that I tend to have little porker babies, I dreamed of a day that my son didn't outgrow a diaper over night and we lost out on almost a whole box of disposable diapers. Oh sure we were able to give it to someone who could use them...but uhm...where does that save us any money?! Yea...it doesn't! When I found Bum Genius diapers I fell in LOVE! I knew I could make these work! Also.....there are these VERY handy little things called DISPOSABLE LINERS! OMG! What?! And they're eco friendly! Biodegradable, flushable....amazing basically. So....even if I got a bit overwhelmed by cloth diapering full on....there was a bonus! The disposable liners were still cheaper than buying disposable diapers! Also, I'd have to say.....another obsticle I foresaw was....dun dun dun....THE HUSBAND! lol What would he say? Can he do it? Will he understand why it's a good option? etc etc. I one day exclaimed to him out of pure excitment "I've decided I'm going to do cloth diapering!" with pure shock on his face he replied "PSHT! You're on your own!" Sent my world crumbling. "What?!" lol He explained he did not want anything to do with it. He had heard from a friend that it really doesn't save all that much money and it's stinky and gross and he wanted nothing to do with it. Well! What was I supposed to do? Thankfully we had a friend who was currently nannying a cloth diapered baby! HALLELUJAH! My husband was remembering the old days where you used one cloth and pins for cloth diapering. Well....little did he knw the cloth diapering would had moved up! After having a demonstration show (using cloth diapers and a baby doll) he then became converted. "I didn't know they were like that!" he replied. lol Yes! It really IS that easy! So now that we had hubby on board the next thing to tackle was "How do we afford all of this?!" For anyone who might have done even the slightest bit of research, you know right off....cloth diapers are EXPENSIVE! Right now Bum Genius 4.0 One Size Fits All with snaps run at $18 a piece. Not too bad...but to buy at least 12 of them? And really....our goal number is 18-24 because we do NOT want to wash diapers ever 2 days. Our goal is to wash clothes/diapers every 3-4 days. Well in order to do that we need about 18-24. I'd LOVE 24...but I'll settle with 18. Well since deciding all of this I have religiously stalked any cloth diapering site I could find. Looking for sales. These sales also needed to coincide with pay day. Well FINALLY there was a sale that I could take part in. Off of Diapers.com. BUT...they were for the gDiapers. Now....I've mentioned I'm in LOVE with the Bum Genius diapers. But, through my extensive research, another diaper I thought I could get into were the gDiapers. The gDiapers did have velcro (which I'm not a fan of, cause velcro wears out) and were NOT one size fits all. However....gDiapers are the easiest to access. For example, they are sold IN STORES at Babies R Us! Everything you need for them is right there. So I was able to go in and get my hands on them. Also...they get some of THE best reviews. I hardly hear any problems with them. So I thought...Mmmm...these I could do! Well Diapers.com was having a great sale on them. 3 for $39 and FREE SHIPPING! So we ordered 6 smalls. Now, I really want to buy the rest in Bum Genius. But....if Bum Genius doesn't start having a sale I'm going to have to figure something else out. So because my husband and I can't afford a huge one time expensive, we've decided to slowly edge into it. That's why we chose to buy the smalls. Now, with Collin more than likely making his apperance early, there is major doubt that he will be a 10lb baby. LOL however if I go full term I'm pretty sure we won't be able to use the smalls at all. BUT this is the plan. If Collin is born too early we'll have to temporarily use disposable's. He has to be at least 7lbs for the cloth diapers to fit correctly. That's fine with us. Meanwhile....we will continue to watch sales and slowly build up our supply. I'm so eager to cloth diaper I want it all now. But funds say "no" lol We also need to buy a wet bag (you can read about those in the blog) and a trash pail for the disposable wipes. I do not want to use re-usable wipes. I have absolutely no desiere to. Maybe one day. But not today. lol So, I thought I would put out a short note/blog (I'm publishing this in my blog too!) to share my excitment and maybe convert some of you pregnant women/women with little babies, to the cloth diapering side! Oh! I would have to say....another motivation to do this...we HAVE a washer dryer. If we were still in an apartment with no washer/dryer...there's NO way I would even consider this! Not one bit! NO way! So! I if anyone would like to donate any used cloth diapers/liners/pails/wet bags/money to the "Hannah And Theo Take On Cloth Diapering" feel free!!! Also....if you happen to hear of a sale...or a friend trying to get rid of theres.....think of me! :) Let us know! You can guy the Bum Genius Diapers online at Target as well (That's convienant) Babies R Us Sells the gDiapers. Soooo.....any donation for us to cloth diaper will be SO greatly appreciated! :) Thanks for reading! OH! If you have any questions, let me know! :)

Let's Stay Positive.....
So I've decided that instead of blogging about why I'm upset, or whatever problems I have, that I'm going to focus on positive things of today! Let's start with Isaiah was AMAZING today!!!!!! He was a BIT cranky when we woke up, but after we actually both woke up...he was totally amazing! He was fun all day. He and I played together. We went shopping and he loved it! He was also VERY cuddly! Ugh! It was bliss! He kept coming up to me and hugging me! Also whenever I sat in my recliner he'd come over and climb in my lap. It's SO nice to be able to cuddle with him and have him "like" me! If Theo's around I don't exist! Although today...when Theo got home, he still was pretty attached to me. So that is something to be VERY grateful for! Also, Isaiah and I had a semi-Patriotic dinner. We had hot dogs! :) He loved it! So that's something to be grateful for. So far today I haven't gone into labor! That's another thing to be grateful for! One more day of gestating for Collin is ALWAYS good. hahaha! I also was able to clean the bathroom, the kitchen and get some laundry done! So I was pretty productive. That's something to be thankful of! ALSO! I got to see SOOOOO many Fireworks from just my front porch! It was sooo nice! They like their Fireworks loud here...which kinda hurts my ears...HOWEVER...apparently they barely have illegal Fireworks here. So I got to see GOOD ones! Like up in the sky ones! :) So......now that I've blogged about positive...I do feel better. I feel like focusing on positive is what's best for now! Soooo there it is! :)

Moving to where?!
So I figured I should put a blog up about our first move! Well, at least REAL move. LOL I moved up to MD when Theo and I first got married...and we've moved 3x's here in Maryland. LOL! But those don't count. hahaha! This is our first official military move! :) So! Where we going? Belle Isle Detroit, MI is Theo's official base! It's VERY small! He'll be working on boats this time. I believe he'll be doing patrol on waters. He's pretty stoked. Hopefully this place is a LOT better than his current station. Curtis Bay, MD. Anyways, so we have a house! :) It's in Eastpointe, MI. We've already been up there and scouted the areas. We decided that Detroit itself wasn't for us. But I'm SO excited for us to have a house!!!!! It's one level with a basement! The basement has a bar. All appliances are included (inc. washer/dryer HALLELUJAH!) lol Anyways, there's a detached 2 car garage, fenced in yard and a sunroom! :) I'll post some picts! YaY!!!!! I cannot WAIT to have a house house!!!!! It's going to be great!

Isaiah's 1st Year Update

So I can't believe Isaiah is 1 years old! Granted this is a bit over a month late...but that's okay! Better late than never right? So let's start with some highlights of what Isaiah has accomplished! :)
He is now a full on walker! About 2-3 weeks before his birthday he basically stood up and took off! He'd been taking small steps here and there...but literally, we were at an indoor playground and he just stood up and hasn't stopped walking since! :)Which pregnant Momma is VERY grateful for! :)
He wears size 24mo clothing. His poor legs are so short though. In pants...he can still wear 12mo sometimes. LOL But as far as outfits in general he's size 24!
He weighs 27lbs and 12oz I think it is. So by now...he's probably 28lbs.
He wears size 6 diapers. He would be potty trained but with the upcoming move, that's on hold.
He says Dadda, Momma (Momma often times means food), Night Nights, Collin (it kinda sounds like a cough lol), Elmo, Go-Go, come, baby, please (in sign language), he knows what the bear says...and some days dog...and I'm sure many more that I can't think of right now. lol
He smart as crap! He already knows how to clean up his clothes. Bring something to someone, take something to someone.
He flirts like it's no one's business.
Uncle Patrick is his favorite person.
He's now officially on big boy milk in a sippy cup! And big boy food. No more baby stuff for this guy.
He still uses a snuggy and binky. But only at night and nap time..and sick days.
He has 8 teeth with 2 K-9 teeth coming in.
He fell and hit his chin on the coffee table and not his left top front tooth is shoved into his gums. Though after swelling and etc went away..the tooth has seemed to grow back down a bit. He's a trooper!
His friends are: Justin Carter, Jayden Hernandez, Ty and Kamryn Newman.
His Nanna (Theo's Mom) has decided to change her name to Grammy.
He loves to play outside.
He is EXTREMELY allergic to mosquito bites. :(
He took a trip to the Air and Space museum and just loved it!
He likes riding the Metro.
He now can cuddle, give kisses, and hug.
I think that might be about it. That's quite a bit. If I remember anything else I'll edit this post! :)
The Whopper Story

So, I just had to note this so I can remember. Sadly there aren't any pictures to document. :( lol
So...on Saturday, April 30, 2011, I had gotten in the shower. We were preparing to go to a friends cook-out. Theo was supposed to watch Isaiah and feed him lunch while I was in the shower. I will start with what I knew and when. So there I am showering. I had to shave my legs...and *sigh* with being 20 weeks pregnant with a decent sized belly...shaving is EXHAUSTING. So I had finally finished that....I was rinsing off to soap down and etc. Well...all of a sudden I hear Theo come in the bathroom giggling hysterically. I just asked "What?" through the shower curtain cause I didn't feel like pulling the curtain or anything. He kept giggling. Next thin I know...he puts Isaiah in the shower for me to see with his Monkey pj shirt a diaper on. On Isaiah's mouth was this MASSIVE amount of brown slobber. And Isaiah starts crying...in his mouth he reveals a mouth full of Whoppers! He was crying and Theo was laughing. I was SO confused as to what happened. Theo finished undressing him. LOL We both started laughing. Isaiah smelled of malt balls. LOL It was so funny. LOL I washed Isaiah off...clean all the chocolate off. After I get out of the shower...I hear the whole story. Apparently Theo had fed Isaiah lunch. I had a side table that I keep everything on. My Mom had given me a box of Whoppers for my bday. I'm not a huge candy person, so I had opened the box...had like 4 and was done. I left the box on my side table next to the couch in a napkin holder, because the napkin holder was empty and it was a good way to hold the box without spilling the contents. So, after Theo fed Isaiah lunch he ran to the kitchen to put the stuff away. He told Isaiah to sit still. Which normally he does. lol Well...on this day he decided to get him some Whoppers. LOL! Theo says he peeked around the corner to check on him...he had his mouth FULL of malt balls....his whole arm down inside the box of whoppers and 1 hand holding Whoppers. He ran over there to get it from him. When he opened his hand with the whoppers Isaiah starts screaming and freaking out. Meanwhile chocolate slobber is massively pouring down his face....Theo is laughing and trying to clean him up. That's when he brings him back to the shower. So...so much for waiting for Isaiah to eat chocolate or candy. We were doing really well! LOL Later that day...he got a hold of another little girls sippy cup that had chocolate milk in it. LOL He downed it in less than 1min. So needless to say...we have a full on chocolate-addict on our hands. LOL! *sigh* YaY! LOL!
The Battle
So, I figured a good way to help myself would be to blog. I never do this consistently enough. I should do it more often....but I don't. LOL Oh well....such is life. Anyways, I've been having mental battles. Actually....I dunno if it's exactly battles...as much as freak out sessions and just worrying in general. Basically, what's going on in my head.....is everything wrong in the world. There's so much going on. I remember when I was pregnant with Isaiah....I went through this phase where I was paranoid about dying. I told Theo repeatedly that if I were to die in an accident or something....to save the baby. I think that's mostly just a hormonal "momma" tendency. Well this pregnancy...I really think it's only natural to have more freak out sessions. I'm pregnant, I have a 1yo to keep up with, we're moving...there's a lot of changes going on in my life. A lot more stresses than what I had with Isaiah. So I think a lot of this is due to my hormones. Which I do NOT appreciate. lol So, alright. These freak out sessions? They're about everything unknown to me/man in general. Like....judgement day is on the top of my list. I do not believe Judgment day is going to happen on May 21st. Mostly because of the verse "But of that day and hour knoweth no [man], no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only."~Matthew 24:36. I continue to not understand why people keep trying to label a day. Just leave it in God's hands! We're obviously not going to know....so stop trying to figure out an exact day. I just don't get it. But anyways, I keep dreaming about end times...or dying...or someone else I know who's a Christian dying. So, basically...it freaks me out. I mean...have you ever read the details of how Christ is coming back? It's scary! I also had this problem when I was pregnant with Isaiah....anything unknown or thriller-ish I couldn't watch/be around etc. So I avoided a LOT of movies and stuff when I was pregnant with him. I'm going to have to start doing that with this pregnancy because everything is freaking me out! So anyways, after thinking about how scary Judgement Day is....then it pains me SO greatly to think that my baby boy (both of them) might not go to heaven. Now THIS...I'm so sure is a Mother's instinct thing kicking in. Us Momma's don't ever want to be away from our babies. We Never want to have our baby's harmed without being there to protect them or make them feel better. So I'm SO sure the freak out of "what if my baby doesn't go to heaven" is more along those lines. *sigh* Doesn't make the thought much easier to deal with though. I do know that there are rare cases when God saves a child's heart. I can only hope and pray mine is one of them! I do need to read the Bible to him more often. We pray all of the time....but....we all need to get more better at reading the scripture....because without it...we have no guide to life. We need to be doing what God says....how can we do that if we don't know what HE'S written?! Anyways....so these are the main things that have been bogging down my brain and taking me away from restful sleep. Last night I was DESPERATE for sleep....plus Collin was laying on my Sciatic Nerve...so I was in a lot of pain. So I prayed. I prayed about everything and anything until I fell asleep. I think God's wanting me to give more to HIM. And to thank HIM more. I have been blessed with SO much...and I don't thank HIM enough. It's so very sad how much HE does for us...and we don't even realize. So after praying that he protect me from my dreams and that I have a peaceful rest....I had it for the most part. I woke up randomly twice last night....but promptly prayed and went right back to sleep. It was wonderful. Thank you God for covering my heart with love and allowing me to have peaceful sleep. I did have a dream that my Mom died in front of me...it's a long story/dream....but I was so upset and she was able to talk to me from heaven sort of. Anyways....it was real creepy...which lead me to waking up. So, I woke up....came in here...started to read my Bible. It's been way too long since I've done it. I wasn't even sure where to start. But what I did was log on FB...the first status I came upon that had a Bible reference/verse listed....I read it. The whole chapter. I must say....a lot of it went over my head...which means I'm WAY past rusty. But I must remember not to let "life" get in the way of me doing what I'm supposed to do. Now that I have little one's sitting through church isn't really for me any more. I have to train them to sit through church etc. But I need to make sure I'm fellowshipping with the right kind of people and having my own private Bible reading time. It's going to help me grow so much. And as far as these dreams and turmoil....I'm pretty sure they're mostly to do with my hormone levels right now. I think I'm going to pray my way through it. Try and forget thinking of things like that...and just move on. It seemed to work to pray for other's...not just myself. Because then it got me thinking about how other's struggle etc. So that's a good thing! For sure! So that's my morning so far. And I do feel a lot better. Blogging is also reminding me that I owe and Isaiah update....and I needed to record the "Whopper Story" LOL!!!! maybe I can do that today. If not...oh well. I think I feel more sleep coming on! Yes! :)

It's Only 7:35a.m?!
So, yes! It is only 7:35a.m. and I feel so accomplished ALREADY! A huge deal for me! LOL I've replied back to some emails. Then I checked my Facebook. Then I got dinner sorta going (set out stuff to thaw etc), then I cleaned up the living room, sorted coupons, got letters ready to be mailed, wrote out grocery list, put biscuits in the oven for breakfast, and........uhm...OH! Got dressed, cleaned up and ready for the day! I feel so good! Let's hope this lasts all day cause I have more stuff to do! LOL! I'm trying to decide right now, whether I want to wake Isaiah up and go to the store first? Or.....let him wake up....feed him breakfast....then go to the store? The problem is that, I need these ingredients like ASAP. I'm making Chili! So I want to get the chili started now! So that it can slow cook longer. So, I think I'll wait for the biscuits to finish, then I'll go wake Isaiah up. He can go a bit without breakfast. The stores just up the road. LOL Soooo....Off I go! To accomplish more this great day! :)
